It is still a "work in progress" and I'll be in Sardinia in March 2024 to taste from the barrels, check the evolution and make some decisions. For now all I can share is that there will be two wines, and they will be called "Arèsti" (Sardinian for "Wild"), and "Mesédu" (Sardinian for "Tamed" or "Gentle"). Because I drove the grapes 150 km. north, outside the appellation, the resulting wines will be "declassified" to either IGT or Table Wine due to strict regulations for the DOC appellation (maybe not for the Monica?...) and I sincerely don't care, all I care is to achieve the standards of quality.
Stay tuned!
