Shenanigans in Sardinia

Sardinia, although in the middle of the western-Mediterranean sea, is highly hilly and mountainous with cold, even snowy winters. These two factors (mountains and sea)  are responsible for unique character and expression of an unmistakable terroir, achieved through an ancient wine making traditional approach. Through the glass, in the background, you can see the very distinguished silhouette of "Corrasi Mountain", the 1,463 mt. (4,800 ft.) granitic mountain which dominates the horizon of this sector of Barbagia, on which the village of Oliena seats. Right next to Oliena, a few kilometers to the South-West, between Oliena and Mamojada, is the village of Orgosolo. This is a special place, full of history, legends, wild forests and caves holding ancient traces of human activity stretching tens of thousands of years.
